Black

Black tea, or what we commonly think of when someone mentions “tea,” is made from the dried leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, a white-flowered evergreen bush native to China and India. Black tea leaves are allowed to oxidize as they are being exposed to warm, dry air, causing the leaves to darken and bringing out a full-bodied tea flavour with a reddish-amber hued brew.

At Celestial Seasonings, we use only the highest quality tea leaves from the finest global tea estates to craft our line of distinctive black teas.
